The Sites
Normanville Jetty Holiday Park and Rapid Bay Campground are located in the District Council of Yankalilla on the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula.
We offer a range of accommodation options including executive cabins, more-cost effective cabins, caravan and tent sites as well as drive thru sites. NJHP has a camp kitchen and RBCG has barbecue facilities.
The Roles
These roles will be ideal for someone looking for casual work.
The Guest Services Officer positions asks for individuals that have had experience cleaning amenity blocks and cabins to a high-standard.
Duties include cleaning of showers, basins and toilets including set-up of cabins between bookings.
The Grounds Maintenance Officer is responsible for grounds-keeping and general maintenance tasks – working within a small grounds maintenance team so experience is desired. All equipment and products supplied.
We will also provide you with localised training, including site induction and WHS training.
You just have to turn up and do a great job!
You will need to be physically fit to perform the work and be able to perform all duties unsupervised and in a timely diligent manner. We set a high standard of cleanliness &amp; maintenance for our guest - which we are adamant are maintained throughout each and every stay.
Previous grounds maintenance or cleaning experience is desirable but is not essential. Enthusiasm, reliability and a positive attitude are our most important criterias.
The following will also be a requirement of the successful incumbent:

<li>Comply with and follow all Occupational Health &amp; Safety, Risk and Environment policies and procedures</li>
<li>Perform other duties as directed by the manager from time to time</li>
<li>Ensure the cleaning is completed in a timely manner</li>
<li>Be flexible to work additional hours due to the demand of peak periods the centre might face</li>
<li>A knowledge of accepted cleaning practices</li>
<li>Ability to work in a team environment</li>
<li>Good oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>Similar experience in a previous role but is not essential</li>
</ul>
Essential

<li>Current First Aid and CPR Certificate “or willingness to obtain”</li>
<li>Current Working with Children Check “or willingness to obtain”</li>
</ul>
